Beyond Parking: How Belgium Built One of Europe’s Most Advanced Digital Enforcement Ecosystems — and What Cities Across Europe Can Learn

Across Europe, the shift toward digital, data-driven and citizen-friendly parking enforcement is accelerating. In Belgium, this transition is already a reality: more than 300 municipalities, 100 police zones and major cities run their parking, permit and enforcement workflows fully digitally — powered by a unified SaaS platform, automation, AI-assisted decisioning and real-time behavioural insights from InTouch Solutions.

This session shares real implementation results. We present the “See Side model,” a benchmark coastal case using scan-car loops, connected handhelds, behavioural-change analytics, AI-assisted appeal handling and cross-department dashboards to cut processing times, improve compliance and manage seasonal pressure.
